INSIDE CODE BRO / THE PRODUCT LAB
From “what if”
to what’s next.
Follow one idea through the work.
The thinking. The screens. The system.
Start with the human.
Before screens or code: who needs this, what gets in their way, and what would a useful first version do?
“I want to book help for my home.
Without all the back-and-forth.”
One useful journey.
Make the idea specific.
A product requirements document turns a conversation into a shared scope. The important part: everyone knows what is in, what is out and what needs a decision.
Home services.
A clearer way to book.
Objective: help a customer find a service and review a visit before submitting it.
Connect the decisions.
Map the journey before polishing the pixels. Work out the main path, the alternatives and how each screen helps someone move forward.
Slot unavailable?
Choose another time.
Clear hierarchy.
Familiar actions.
Visible feedback.
Now, make it tangible.
Turn the agreed screens into a journey you can actually try. Use sample data, test the sequence and collect feedback before the full build.
A little help.
A lot more ease.
Give the interface a system.
Once scope is approved, connect the experience to its data, rules and services. The full build is a separate phase—not something a visual prototype replaces.
// Validate before creating a booking
async function requestVisit(input) {
const details = validate(input);
const slot = await checkAvailability(details);
if (!slot.available) {
return { next: 'choose-another-time' };
}
return await bookings.create(details);
}Test more than the happy path.
A good journey also handles missing details, unavailable slots and failed requests. Review the experience on different screens and with a keyboard.
Small details.
Real consequences.

Ready is a checklist.

THE THINKING BEHIND THE SCREENS
From the first tap
to the next step.
A useful prototype connects the screens. What does someone choose? What do they see next? What makes the next action clear?

BEFORE YOU START
Good questions.
Clear answers.
Is this a finished app, website or software product?
No. This is an interactive prototype of an agreed journey for your mobile app, website or custom software. It uses sample data to demonstrate screens and interactions. Live databases, production security, payment processing, app-store releases and full backend development are not part of the starter scope.
How does the development credit work?
If you continue with Code Bro on the same agreed project, the paid prototype fee is credited towards its development fee. The proposal records the eligible amount, validity period and how the credit is applied before you pay. Taxes and external costs are itemised separately.
What if my idea needs more screens?
We review your brief first. The starter scope is one main user journey with 5–7 key screens and one consolidated revision round. Extra roles, flows, screens or integrations receive a separate quote before work starts.
When will I receive my prototype?
We aim for five working days for the starter scope after the brief, required material and payment are complete. We confirm the actual start and delivery dates in your proposal. More complex prototypes may need longer.
What if I do not continue with development?
You still receive the prototype deliverables agreed in your proposal. There is no obligation to buy development. Access duration, editable-file handover, ownership and cancellation or refund terms are confirmed in writing before payment.
Can I share it with my team?
Yes. The agreed preview link and walkthrough help your team review the experience. Tell us if you need restricted access or an NDA before sharing confidential information. Please leave passwords and sensitive customer records out of the enquiry.
