Who we are & what this covers

Code Bro operates codebro.co.in. This notice explains how information is handled when you browse this website, make privacy choices or contact us about our services. Contact: contact@codebro.co.in. Office: 702, Tower A, Spaze iTech Park, Sector 49, Gurugram, Haryana 122018, India.

This notice does not automatically cover the apps, third-party products or client services shown in our portfolio. Their operator, contract and product-specific privacy notice govern their data handling. A project agreement may separately describe how we handle client data when delivering services.

Information you provide

If you contact us, we may receive your name, business name, email address, phone number, project requirements, budget or timeline, messages and any material you choose to send. We use this information to respond, understand your request, prepare proposals and manage the resulting business relationship.

Only share information relevant to your enquiry. Do not include passwords, payment-card details, identity documents, health information or confidential customer records in an initial message. If a project requires sensitive or third-party data, agree a secure transfer method and appropriate terms with us first.

How our enquiry forms work

The project brief prepares your answers in your browser for review. If you choose “Send enquiry securely”, the website sends the displayed contact and project details and any files you selected to our server, stores a private enquiry record and approved attachments outside the public website directory, and attempts to notify vipul@codebro.co.in. The notification email includes the submitted details and approved attachments. A reference number confirms that the enquiry was saved; it does not guarantee that an email was delivered to an inbox or read. Failed notifications can be retried using the saved enquiry.

We also use a private Google Sheets lead tracker, Google Apps Script and Google Drive to organise enquiries and supporting attachments for authorised people handling your request. These services receive the enquiry details and files for follow-up, separately from optional Google Analytics. Refusing analytics does not stop the processing needed to handle a message you choose to send.

Attachments are optional and limited by file type, count and size. Do not upload passwords, payment details, identity documents, confidential customer records, executable files or material you do not have permission to share. We may remove unsafe, irrelevant or unlawful files.

You can instead copy the brief or open it in email or WhatsApp. Those options do not submit an enquiry until you send it in the selected service, and files are not transferred automatically through those links. A contact-link click alone does not prove delivery. The brief tool does not save form fields in browser local storage; browser autofill, clipboard history and messaging apps remain controlled by your device and providers.

The homepage quote form sends your project and contact details and selected attachments through the same secure enquiry system when you choose “Request a quote”. Moving between its steps or closing the popup does not submit the form.

Live chat

Tawk.to loads automatically when you visit this website to provide live chat and visitor availability alerts. Before you send a message, it can process technical visit information such as your IP address, browser, pages visited and session activity, and use cookies or browser storage. This processing is separate from your optional Google Analytics choice. Information you enter in chat, such as your name, contact information and message, is processed by Tawk.to and made available to Code Bro so we can respond.

Please do not send passwords, payment-card data, identity documents or confidential customer data in chat. The widget is configured to operate only on Code Bro domains. Read Tawk.to’s privacy policy for its service practices.

Technical information & hosting

The website is hosted using Hostinger. Delivering pages and protecting the service can involve processing IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps, browser information and diagnostic or security logs by the hosting provider. These essential delivery and security activities are separate from optional analytics. Avoid including personal or confidential information in website URLs.

We use technical information to operate the website, investigate faults, prevent misuse and protect the service. Hosting logs and backup handling depend on the hosting configuration and provider practices; analytics refusal does not prevent the technical processing needed to deliver a page.

Optional Google Analytics

If you accept analytics, the website loads Google Analytics 4 to help us understand visits and improve content. Measurement can include page views, project views, contact-link interactions, service selections and other enabled website interactions. Google can process cookie identifiers, browser and device characteristics, page and referral information, timestamps and approximate location. These records are not necessarily anonymous, even when we view aggregated reports.

Our custom tracking events do not include enquiry text or form-field contents. Do not enter personal information into page URLs. Google’s own collection and processing are explained in How Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google’s Privacy Policy.

Analytics is optional and is not loaded by our website until you accept. Choosing “Only essential” does not prevent you from browsing or contacting us. You can turn analytics off using the control below. Withdrawal stops future measurement in this browser; it does not automatically erase information previously received by Google.

Cookies & browser storage

We store your appearance preference under codebro-theme and your analytics choice under codebro-analytics-consent in local storage. These settings stay in that browser until changed or cleared; our code does not set a timed expiry for them.

When permitted, Google Analytics can set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_… to distinguish visits and sessions. Cookie lifetimes depend on Google’s implementation, property settings and browser restrictions; a cookie’s lifetime is different from the retention of records in Analytics.

The live-chat provider may use cookies or browser storage needed to deliver and secure a conversation. You can delete cookies and local storage in your browser’s site-data settings. Clearing the stored choice means you may be asked again. Choices are browser/device-specific; repeat them on other devices. The Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on is another option where supported.

When you close the homepage quote popup or successfully submit it, we store a dismissal preference under codebro-quote-dismissed-v1. This prevents the popup from opening automatically again in that browser until site data is cleared. It does not contain your contact details or project answers. You can still open the quote form yourself.

Purposes & applicable legal grounds

We handle enquiry information to communicate with you and take steps toward services you request; service records may also be needed to perform an agreement. Optional website analytics is based on your affirmative choice. Essential operations, security, recordkeeping and legal requests are handled for those specific purposes and on the grounds permitted by applicable law.

Where a law requires a particular consent, notice or legal basis, that requirement applies. Merely browsing this notice does not give consent to optional analytics, marketing or unrelated uses of your information.

Who may receive information

Relevant information may be processed by hosting, email, live-chat, messaging and analytics providers to deliver their services, and by people who need it to handle your enquiry or agreed work. Email, Tawk.to and WhatsApp providers also have their own privacy practices. We do not sell enquiry information or use this website to run a personal-data marketplace.

Information may be disclosed where required by a valid legal obligation, to protect rights or investigate misuse, or in a business reorganisation subject to applicable safeguards and notice requirements. We do not treat a general enquiry as permission to publish your project, identity or confidential materials.

International processing

Our business is based in India, but service providers may process information in other countries. Their privacy laws may differ from those where you live. Where transfer restrictions apply, appropriate legal requirements and safeguards must be met. Contact us if you need to discuss location or contractual requirements before sharing project data.

How long information is kept

Information is kept for the purpose for which it was received and relevant legal, accounting, security or dispute-resolution needs. The appropriate period depends on whether an enquiry becomes a project, the contract, the type of record and applicable requirements. Information should be deleted or de-identified when it is no longer needed, subject to lawful retention and backup limitations.

Browser preferences remain until changed or cleared. Analytics record retention is governed by the Google Analytics property configuration and Google’s applicable terms; this notice does not promise a specific account setting or immediate deletion from backups. You can contact us about the retention or deletion of information you provided.

Your choices, requests & complaints

You can ask us about your information, request access or correction, request deletion, withdraw consent, or raise a concern using contact@codebro.co.in with the subject “Privacy request”. Describe the request and the channel or project involved. Do not send identity documents in the first email; we may seek proportionate verification if necessary to protect your information.

Depending on the law applicable to you and when its provisions are in force, rights may also include information about processing, objection or restriction, portability, nomination or a complaint to a competent authority. We handle requests within applicable legal time limits and explain relevant limitations, such as records we must retain. This notice does not limit statutory rights or require you to waive them.

For a privacy grievance, use the same email with the subject “Privacy grievance”. Please provide enough context for us to investigate. You may also write to Code Bro at the office address above. Escalation to an appropriate regulator or authority remains available where applicable.

Children’s information

This is a business-services website and is not directed at children under 18. Children should not submit personal information or enable optional analytics. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and address it under applicable law. Any product designed for children requires its own appropriate safeguards and notice.

Security & external services

No internet transmission, email service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Use care with information you send and contact us promptly if you suspect misuse or an exposure involving this website. Where a personal-data incident requires notification, applicable legal duties govern the response.

Links to portfolio products, app stores and external websites are provided for convenience. Their operators control their own collection, security and privacy practices. Review their notices before using those services.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when the website, providers or applicable requirements change. The revision date appears above. Material changes will be communicated where required, and new consent will be sought where necessary. A revised notice does not retrospectively authorise unrelated processing.
